remembering the past. (Open)

Damon had been out on his own for the week, finally free from the day as he had four classes that morning and one more that evening. He wanted a break now and to be left alone as well. One place that he knew he would have some peace and quiet was at the White Tomb. The graveyard there was usually that way as people often came to pay their requests. As he walked down the trail he could see that someone had been there. There were new tracks that he had not seen before that also looked rather new. 'Someone's been here. I wonder if I'll run into them?' He asked himself as he continued along to see where the tracks would go.

After awhile, he seemed to have lost his interest in the tracks, as they just wound up where he guessed, they were at the tombs. But he wasn't interested at this point in trying to pay his respects, he had done that a few days ago to the two as he came by himself. One of the trees nearby, that happened to be the one that Ari would go too. He decided to climb up it and sit in one of the branches. Carefully picking his way through the branches before finding one that would take his weight. With his sensitive ears he could pick up a little bit of what Ari had said nearby. It was something about the two that were buried here, but he knew it was rude in order to burst out of no where to interrupt her.

"It would be a very good honor to meet both of them, I have to agree with that." Damon said after deciding to say something as he looked at her from the branch. He wondered how she would react to him up there, though he hoped that she wouldn't be startled by him being there.

"Woah! I'm really sorry I didn't mean to startle you or anything! I mean it, I'm really sorry." Damon said knowing he may have startled her a lot. If anything she would have taken her wand out to try and cast a spell or counter one of his, but he didn't want that to happen at all. He wasn't trying to hurt or startle her any way. "I mean that I wasn't trying to startle you. I saw your tracks earlier when I came in but I thought you had left. I guess that wasn't the case. I really am sorry." He said his voice was calm. But he was stiff in case he had to move out of the tree in order to avoid being hit. He was also lucky that he had brought his own wand and remembered it, sometimes he had a bad habit of forgetting it. But it wasn't every day.

Damon let out a sigh of relief seeing that she was looking better now, he didn't have to worry as much. "I guess you're right with that one. I wasn't trying to startle you or anyone. But I'll come down soon." Damon said as he began to climb down the tree branches before he made it successfully to the last one. He was glad that the trees were strong, they didn't break on his weight. So that was a good sign. Finally he let go of the last branch and landed on his feet. "My name's Damon Greyback. It's nice to meet you Ari. I still feel bad about earlier though." He added telling the truth.
