1) BE RESPECTFUL: This means to everyone on the site, whether a graphic designer, a member, one of the staff or even to your friends. If we find out that someone has been bothering someone else or being annoying, we will give them two warnings. If that doesn't cut it, they will be banned from the site on the third time.
2) No Godmodding or Powerplaying: For advanced roleplayers this should be simple. Do not take charge of some one else's character in a rolepay. With this we will not allow someone to give another ability to use the curse "Avada kedevra" And expect to get away with a killing. You will at first ask the other roleplayer to see if it is fine if they want to kill off the character they have, and if not find some other way to roleplay it out. Killing should not be the first assumption that everyone makes. Also if you want more indepth on godmodding/power playing, feel free to search it or ask one of the admins on the site.
3) NO WORD COUNT: Yes, we have no word count on the site as a gift to our roleplayers. If we see people not abiding to this rule the admins will stop the roleplay and ask them to make it longer. Since it is hard often times in order to post to a single line of a roleplay. If we see several people doing this on the site, we will have a low word count. But please, don't make us have to go all that way and change it.
4) CHARACTERS: There are several things that we want to put forward with characters. You are allowed as many as you can handle. If you can handle one, that is fine. If you can handle five, that is also fine as well, as long as you make sure each one of them is active we will not complain one bit.
As for accounts we do not care if you roleplay them on one account or each give them a seperate one. If you do however use them on one account, we ask that you say which character is distinguished in the roleplay so we can tell who you are using.
Applications are given out so we can see every side or angle of a character you have. We ask that you take no more than a week or even faster to do your application. When you're working on your character it must be placed like this: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME and or [WIP] or [DONE] To let the staff members know to check over the applications.
With this in mind, if you suddenly disappear from the site without an explination, we will give the member a week and a half before we place the character in limbo as we assume that the person may not return from the site and to keep our character area neat and tidy.
Password: There are two passwords that are on the site that are required to be put into the application. There are hints in the application to be given of where they are. You have to look around the site a bit before finding them right away. Once you have found the password you can place them in the application so the staff can accept it. This way we at least know you looked over the important areas of the forum. Lastly the password maybe changed every couple of months so new members can not sneak onto old forums and try to find it easily. There will be announcement when the new password has been reset.
Lastly when you are finished with your application we ask that you have the names of your characters on your accounts so we know who is roleplaying who. Also graphics are not neccessary but if you have a sudden desire feel free to do so.
5) Keep it PG 13: That's right no gory scenes, or anything graphic. We ask for this in order to bring in and attract a younger audience at times, plus people may not always want to hear this. However we will allow swearing or harsh words as long as it's not every sentence or every other word since that can be annoying and disrespectful.
6) Deaths and Pregnencies: Yes we realize these things happen. But like the previous topic there needs to be some communication between the staff, and the members. If you want your adults to have child feel free to tell the staff and if we give you the okay then feel free to do so. The same can be said with deaths, the member does not have the final say on killing one.
7) ACTIVITY: It is required that you at least log into one of your accounts daily. You do not have to log into each account if you're not up for it. But every month or so we will have activity checks, to make sure that people are active. Once the activity checks are over we will do a sweeping of all the unactive accounts that are on the site to keep things clean. Also that means that the unused characters will move to the limbo section.
8) Joining a Team: This rule specifically means for the Death Eaters. For those who want to join the Death eaters and are a student you must wait until your character has been enrolled in their fifth year. Why? Because younger students such as their first or second year may be too weak to fight a full grown death eater. This means that the Death Eaters can only recruit members once they are in their fifth year. The same can be said for the Order of the Phoenix members.
